A new Hotel tower is being planned for International Drive and Kirkman Road. Ray Scott, partner and CEO of Orlando-based Scott Architecture Inc., is the project designer.

The proposed iSquare Mall and hotel complex would feature an ice skating rink, food court and rotating restaurant, along with 160,210 square feet of retail, 48,418 square feet of meeting rooms, 1,253 hotel rooms in two towers and a nine-level parking garage.

Scott said the 31 story project is being designed 400 feet high, with its communications tower reaching a height of about 450 feet.
