A 55,000-square-foot Publix will be the anchor tenant of a 200,000-square-foot shopping center east of State Road 429 and south of New Independence Parkway. This area west of Windermere and north of the Magic Kingdom is a popular growing community, in West Orange County.
The Hamlin center is expected to be completed by summer 2017, and will have 10 additional buildings for retailers. The design takes advantage of the scenic shoreline of Lake Hancock. Nearby theaters and a Walmart are already breaking ground.
