Plans for Tremont Tower include 8,239 square feet of retail and lobby space, 586 spaces in 10 levels of structured parking, 206,584 square feet in seven levels of office space and an eight-story, 180-room Hyatt Place hotel on top, along with a new train platform for the SunRail station on Church Street. HuntonBrady Architects PA is the project architect and Brasfield and Gorrie LLC will be the general contractor.
The second phase of the project — which still hasn’t quite been finalized yet — could involve a second tower integrated with the first tower’s parking structure. That building would include a conference center, either replacing or revamping the existing Church Street Ballroom, as well as another hotel or residential units above, Stahley said. No timetable or specifics have been determined for the next phase, though.
