Pizzuti breaks ground on downtown Orlando apartments

Construction breaks ground this week for new a nine-story, 333-unit luxury mid-rise apartment at 777 N. Orange Ave. in downtown Orlando. The Pizzuti Cos. LLC is the developer. Charlan Brock & Associates Inc. of Maitland, are the architects who have designed The Sevens, which is slated to include 9,500 square feet of ground-level retail, plus a rooftop pool deck, dog park and integrated parking garage.

The design has a strong urban presence on the street, and the double cornice has a distinctive shadow line capping the parapet. This is the 4th apartment complex to be built on this stretch of Orange Avenue, north of Colonial.
