The Daytona Seabreeze Resort, which was built in 1979, is located right on Daytona Beach. The boutique vacation ownership property owned by Bluegreen Corporation was due for a makeover. The scope of services for the project included complete interior makeovers for all 78 one-and-two-bedroom guestrooms to reflect an “organic, relaxing, soothing retreat,” describes VOA Managing Principal, Jonathan F. Douglas, AIA. “The design captures the relaxed elegance of an oceanfront resort, allowing visitors to enjoy the spacious and inviting areas that frame and overlook the ocean views.” A soothing, neutral palette accented with textural fabrics and soft, watery shades calls reference to the local beach landscape while allowing the dramatic ocean views to take center stage.
