One of the images on our Blog’s Cover Photo is the Amway Center, which received the AIA Orlando Chapter Award of Honor for 2011. Can you believe it has been that long since it opened? Architects were: Populous (Architect Of Record), Baker Barrios Architects (Assoc Architects), C.T. Hsu + Associates (Assoc. Architects) Orlando, Florida. The jury comments were: “The building does a nice job bridging the downtown district to the south Paramore district. Spatially, the pre-determined commercial venues add new dimension to the project. Inventive use of the exterior terrace spaces.”
Another great reason to Love Orlando – the coolest place to watch the Orlando Magic, the circus, or concerts!
