Come to a special tour of the magnificent mansion of the steel magnate James L. Laughlin and his wife, Sydney who settled on the lakefront property in the 1800’s. In 1903, they hired architect Grosvenor Atterbury, who worked for McKim, Meade, & White, to design the home after the famous Alhambra Castle in Spain. The home is a Mediterranean revival style with some Asian influences.
